On July 4th and August 22nd Maestro Sergio Alapont will stand before the Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne to conduct the following works: La Scala di Seta: Obertura by Rossini, Concierto for Cello and Orchestra by Offenbach, with Sébastien Hurtaud as soloist, and Symphony no. 1 in C major by Bizet. The concerts will take place in the Théatre du Pays de Redon, as part of the Festival of Redon, and in the town of Ploemel, respectively.

Also, on July 18th, Sergio Alapont will conduct the Orchestra del Teatro Massimo Bellini di Catania at the Teatro Greco di Siracusa, with Maria Grazia Schiavo (soprano) and Josè Maria Lo Monaco (mezzosoprano). In the concert, entitled “Il Canto di Orfeo”, works by Haydn, Gluck, Liszt and Bellini will be performed.
