On June 28th Maestro Alapont will conduct, once again, the Orquesta de Valencia in its principal theatre, the Palau de la Música de Valencia. The event has been programmed in honour of the composer Francisco Llácer Pla. Performing will be José Luis Ruiz del Puerto on guitar and the pianists Marina Delicado and Xavier Torres. The programme includes Adagietto from Gustav Mahler’s 5th Symphony, the 1919 suite of Igor Stravinsky’s Firebird, the Francisco Llácer piece Ricercare concertante para dos pianos y orquesta and the absolute premiere of Resonancias, tres murales sonantes para guitarra amplificada, cuerda y percusión, by Emilio Calandín.

Sergio Alapont will soon be conducting the Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne at the Festival de Redon and also the Orchestra del Teatro Massimo Bellini di Catania performing at the Teatro Greco di Siracusa.
